Great place to stay!

We stayed 3 nights, the beds are so comfortable it was just what we needed after a long day of fishing! Mary makes a great cup of coffee and was so helpful planning our trip, she really made things easy on us. She had great recommendations for things to do and restaurants to try as well. Fabulous B&B outside of Anchorage.

I had a last minute trip to visit family in Anchorage. I was referred to Jarvi Home Stay and am so glad! I was welcomed like I was a friend! Mary and Dan looked out for me, sharing places they recommended I visit with my cousin and checked in each day to hear about my adventures. The breakfasts were tremendous! I’m diabetic and Mary made sure to have a variety of foods that were tasty and a great start to the day. I particularly enjoyed their puppy who curled up next to me as I watched tv or read. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very comfortable and safe at the Jarvi Home Stay. It was spotless and very comfortable. There were great restaurants nearby – a short drive away, about 1.5 miles. The area around the home was great for walking. I enjoyed a 2 mile neighborhood walk each morning before I started my day. I really enjoyed my visit to Jarvi Home Stay and look forward to returning for future visits.

Comfortable living area for B&B guests, separate from family living quarters. Delicious breakfasts including home-made muffins to fuel your day. Absolutely the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in!! Gracious, welcoming hosts with tips for where to go and what to do in Anchorage and surrounding communities. So interesting to talk with both Mary and Dan!!
